    off feeding during ovulation

ive breed my 3 yr old fem ball and recently it shed and its color really ligthened up specially in the head... will an ovulating ball feed...?
should i offer it food after the pre-lay shed....?
does this mean that if a ball feeds after its (supposed) prelay shed it isnt pregnant...? or is it normal for some balls to eat during this period

    Re: off feeding during ovulation

Gravid females do not eat. If you offer food, and she eats, she has not ovulated yet. If she has ovulated, she will begin feeding after she lays and you have either pulled the eggs (or after they hatch if incubated maternally).
