    Re: morphs?

Here's a link that will list all the morphs for you, and distinguishs between those that have proven to have a genetic link and those that are unproven.

Morphs come from animals in the wild that either carry a gene, or express the morph itself. They can be reproduced (relatively) with some predictability.

I hope I answered your questions, and do not worry about feeling silly. Better to get the answers than to sit there and keep feeling silly.

    Re: morphs?

i think the last person forgot the link but i know this one helped me to better understand http://ballpython.ca/genetics.html
just think of morphs like the small branches of a tree... the trunk is "normal" but can be branched out "morphed" from there... getting more and more complex with every new branch or "morph"
i dont know if that analogy will work for you

Dang I did forget the link, but I edited it back in there.... Thanks, for pointing it out. I must not be quite as awake as I though. This link is to a different site. Although I do love Markus Jayne's pictorial guides. It helped me quite a bit with breeding.
