    shedding.....

    I posted about my snake last week about my snake "Ace" not wanting to eat... well i did what everyone told me to do... by putting him inhis own tank... and i also got him something to hide under (which by the way he loves and doesn't want to come out) i took him out yesterday and notice his eyes eye's are cloudy... i was glad everyone says he could have went off feed b/c of winter and b/c he was getting ready to shed.. ummm i've been putting something in this water thats supposed to help his appitie...

    i'm not @ my house or else i would be able to tell you the extact name... but i think it's by " Nature Zone"... i've been looking it up for the past 10 mins and cant find anything on it.... but i got it @ a local petstore

    My snake is finally shedding.. and alot of his scaps are going away... except for two... they dont have scales on them.. just sorta looks like meat... but other then that he looks good... and i thought that he cou;dn't open his mouth @ all... but lastnight i saw him yawn .. .. but about his scaps... would snake oil be good to put on them?

    Dunno - what the heck is snake oil in this context????

    When you say they are like meat do you mean red and bleeding or just patches of skin?

    Just trying to get an idea of his condition.

    If it's not bleeding, and just like white skin, then putting a little bit of neosporin (regular not the pain relief kind) on it every couple days. This will help it heal up and reduce left over scarring.
