Can someone go in depth of the popping process in which to determine the sex of a ball python
I don't suggest learning to do it over the internet. Find someone who can show you in person. Popping or probing incorrectly can hurt the snake leave permanent damage.
I do not recommend trying to do this yourself. People may make it "look easy", but you could really end up hurting the snake in the long run. I do say if you really want to learn how to probe/pop a snake do take the snake to a herp vet. While there the vet can tell you the sex of your snake and help you learn how to probe or pop it.
