Miss attitude
Hello im having a problem with my female BCI with striking. She's 6 months old and she has struck at me here in the last couple days and tonight i have feed her and i was looking at here with my face close to the cage and she struck at me and hit the side of the tub why is she acting out so bad?

Re: Miss attitude
Well BCI are known for their aggressive feeding responses and their strong strikes so that's not totally out of character. How big is she? How often is she fed and what size and type prey are you offering? What sort of enclosure is she in? Where's the enclosure located in your home?

She's alittle over 2ft and she's in a 12QT Sterilite tub in our living room. Im feeding her large rat pinkies they leave a nice nugget in her belly.

My male is a little over 2' and takes small rats every other week but would gladly eat every week. He is actually a bit nippy but usually only strikes in shed. Just make sure you keep on handling no matter what. A bite from a 2' boa is much less painful than a bite from a 6' boa, I can vouch for that

Too many boas to list and a few balls as well
