Now I have this stupid, furry, red eyed,

messy, rat, that is hung like a horse for a pet.

I hate it when the wife is around on feeding day. I couldn't get this one in the tub fast enough and now I have to get a whole setup tomorrow for the new "pet" rat.

lol! When my little brother a long while back got a pet rat, my mom said they didn't know if it was a boy or a girl. I told her "If you can't tell... that's definitely a girl. Trust me."

Not sure if that analogy really works...

But anyway, you should definately get your rat a companion if you are going to keep him. They're social animals that will not be happy living alone!

Thats great!! My sister always tries to name the feeders. She should know that the tank marked "Food" is a bad one to name the occupants of. lol Name the breeders that will live to be a year old at least.
Maybe you could swap the male for a female so you don't have to deal with them butt pillows

    No more pet rat.

I was allergic to it. Who knew.

I stopped home at lunchtime today when everyone was out and brought the rat back to the store.

And that is the story I am sticking to regarding his whereabouts (I don't want to sleep on the couch).
