Hopefully, it's just a ball, not balls.

The BP's are in tubs.
This is going to be a display cage. Either a yellow ackie or a copperhead. Haven't decided yet. I'll see how secure it is before I decide.
I love the old slant front neodeshas and they were great for hots. We'll see if this one is as good. If not, an ackie will reside in it.

Only kidding.
I hope you are ready for a copperhead! Good luck.

Re: Check out the new cage
Looks like it might even be a better design than the old Neos since the doors don't cover the litter dam. Less chance of bedding getting stuck in the door tracks...
Did you get glass or acrylic sliders? Looking forward to a review on this design - make sure to update on how it works out for you!

Re: Check out the new cage
I got it with acrylic to avoid breakage during shipping but he is also sending the measurements to bring to a glass shop to cut glass panels if I want to go with that instead. I always ended up with substrate in the groove on my neos even with the litter dam. Plus some slide easy and others were a pain in the butt.
I'll let everyone know how it is once it's in use.
I hope you are ready for a copperhead! Good luck.
Been a long time since I have kept a hot but if the cage is secure enough, this will work well.

Re: Check out the new cage
Me and my brother used to look for snakes and lizards and stuff at my grandparents hosue when we visited. Comming from Iowa, it was a big deal. However me and my brother were alot younger and we lifted alot of rocks and didn't know much better... if you dont know where this is already going... i caught a copperhead at the age of 6. No i wasn't the brightest in the box but i knew to grab it from the back of the head and stuff (thank you steve) and it was just a baby (not saying that it wasnt a bad idea)

Nah, they are one of the "less harmful" hot's. You could still have to worry about going into anaphylactic (sp?) shock from a bite if you are allergic but as far as a bite being fatal, that's very, very rare. AV will work well on a bite from these snakes. You just need to worry about tissue damage from the venom. One good thing is these snakes have been known to give dry bites (I know that very well ).
