Just hit his first small rat

been FOREVER since I've posted here, but I'm posting out of some excitement since Trigger just hit his first small rat & is wrapped around it as I type.

Been feeding him for two years on adult mice and all was fine, but I figured the switch was long overdue & finally decided to give it a shot. I really didn't think he'd go for it but he did. He was in his hide when i opened the age & put the rat in & at first i didn't see any movement... but once i made a little rustle on the bottom of the cage he perked RIGHT up, poke out, locked right in on it & after a few seconds nailed it.

Oooh... he's unwinding now... hopefully this story will continue w/ good news

took him a while, but he polished it off... he was a tease & after getting the head down he dragged it back into his hide

    well... I'm happy w/ that.
