Introduction - Winston!!!!
OK, so Joanna and I were on FedEx watch together this morning, both waiting on shipments from Adam!
I woke up this morning in a cold sweat, as I had the most awful dream that Winston had died in shipping, and somehow Adam was over at my house trying to console me, but yet he wouldn't let me pick out another snake from his shop - weird!
So, Buddy arrived at Joanna's and I'm still waiting on Winston - but FINALLY he arrives. I met the driver at his truck, and he was like "live harmless reptile? what am I holding in this box?" I casually said "oh, a python". He actually didn't react much, sort of went "hmmmm".
So, the obiligatory opening box shots first:

But wait! What is this?? Hmmm...it's not a ball python....but what could it possibly be????

Oh my! It's an itty bitty baby crested gecko! In shed, no less! Actually, Adam's better half, Kelly had a sweet baby crested gecko from her two that had babies, and she gifted this little sweety pie to Karl! Thank you Kelly!!! More pictures of this cutie will be posted in the Gecko forum later!
So - let's continue! As we look past the deli cup with the cutest gecko in the world in it, there it is!!! The snake bag!!!!

WINSTON!!!!!!!!!!!

He came out of the bag very unlike Mikey's Buddy. He's such a laid back little fella, and I just sat there for the longest time just staring at him, examining every scale, the famous clear belly of a visible morph, just mesmerized!
A very special thanks to Adam who has made my experience in my journey into the joys of ball python ownership such a great one. I'll never forget first meeting him here when I was a scared new owner of a new ball python who refused to eat for me. Adam's tips got him eating for the first time. Then when he got sick and had to be treated for internal parasites and answering all my scared new owner questions.
And of course, when I was ready to start expanding my personal collection, he answered countless questions about choosing healthy females and the right questions to ask when venturing into the online ball python dealers.
So when I was ready to define my breeding goals, he was there for me then as well. Some have called those of us who sing Adam's praises as suck-ups. But every bit of praise that Adam gets is a direct result of his hard work as a business man, wonderful marketing, and running his business in a very honorable manner. Not only am I proud to own animals that he produced, I'm even more proud to call him friend!
Thank you Adam! Winston is all I ever hoped for, and I should have trusted you in the beginning of the process (I asked to see SOOOO many pastels, before Adam finally picked Winston for me - hehehe, he let me think I picked him, but he really did - all but insisted that Winston was MY snake!).

Re: Introduction - Winston!!!!
Thank you again for everything Robin ... you're one of the best customers I've ever worked with and also one of my closest confidants and friends. My passion is for these animals and I enjoy having people in my life that are consumed by them the same way that I am ... you most definitely fit the bill!
I can't wait to be there when you hatch your first ball python clutches ... you can bet your hiney that I'm flying down ... wouldn't miss it for the world!
