temp issues

how serious is it when the snakes wont eat for several weeks, when I think its the temp issues I've been working with?

basically, I am in the middle of redoing my flexwatt stuff...not warm enough. could be the lower than optimal temps keep my babies from eating?

Could be that temps are too low. Or fluctuating too much. Or if you're fiddling with the enclosure repeatedly to try to get the temps stable...that might be stressing him out.

If he's at a healthy weight to begin with, a few weeks off food won't hurt him at all. Get those temps stable and then give him a week or so to settle in again without any messing around...and hopefully he'll be good and hungry.

My girl missed four weeks of feeding during our move because there was so much traveling and a variety of different locations for her to be moved in and out of during that time. She's fine....and her feeding response is now as aggressive as ever.
