best way to clean silk plants?

I just bought some silk plants at the local odds-n-ends store

what is the best way for me to clean them prior to putting them in the tank?

also, I assume I can spot clean them with clorhexadine+water if they get soiled by my adorable poop factory *ahem* pet...correct?

Yup. Clorhexadine & water will work just fine. Just remember to rinse they off good.
