Thumbs down 36"x1000' Kraft Paper 5 bucks (expired)

Not sure if anyone has tried using this particular brand OR has previously used anything that wasn't white or unbleached . . but Staples has rolls of duo textured kraft paper for $5 for a 36" x 1000' roll.

    http://www.staples.com/webapp/wcs/st...0051&langId=-1

If the link doesnt work (might be zip code dependent) just hit staples and do a seach for all the following terms

    rainbow kraft 36 1000

These are disappearing pretty quick - even good for creative types with big paper fetishes

Wow, great deal! The only thing I wonder about is the "smooth surface for wet media". Doesn't sound like it would absorb very well, and my snakes tend to use a lot of "wet media".

Shouldn't be any less absorbant than cheap watercolor medium (muy muy cheap) - I was just glad to see it could support wet media (i smell a tshirt coming out of that phrase) to know it wouldn't bleed/run.

I AM SO WET MEDIA COMPLIANT

Well, I ordered three rolls. My kids will enjoy it if it doesn't work out for the snakes.

Ja. My kids really did used to love to draw on mondo paper - life sized outlines were even cool when I was a kid (precambrian era I know).

I figure if it doesn't work out me and bottle of Patron might try to TP someones house with it (though it might be tricky tossing it over the roof).

The stock you see reflected should (according to Staples) only show what's near you geographically - call their 800 order number and I bet you can wheedle what you need out of em!

If it is really gone I'm sorry and will change the thread title.
