What age would you say?

I got Kyna on 12/30/06 and I think she shed right before we got her... she is about 18.5 inches long and 97grams... I would really like to know a guesstimant. If it would help to know she is in the shedding process as we speak. I know length ranges from python to python but any little tips or ideas on how to determine a ball park number for her age.. THANKs!

Well... at least she was 1/10/07... I can't pick her up right now cause she is shedding...

her vet report says that she was 97.000gm if that means something different.. I have never been good with measurements...

i hope less than 3 months old. alot of hatchlings will weigh 60 grams and up at birth. 70-80 grams is a good hatch weight.

My vet has no consern as Kyna eats well and is shedding. I would have thought that she was only about a month old when I first got her. but I just wanted to know what you guys thought..

She's a baby baby thats for sure. Can't be more then a month or two old.

ok.. well.. in times like these... I guess I could say that her birthday is.. dec 6! YAY! its close... so what if it isnt right

That's probably a good guess because most breeders wait until the baby has had it's first shed, then feed 1-3 meals (more sometimes) and send them off to their new owners. So assuming that her shed before you got her was her first, then she was probably less then a month old at that time. Her current weight supports that timeline.
