    rear-fanged stuff

I have been told by many importers that you could no longer import rear-fanged snakes into the U.S. any more. But latly I have seen a huge increase in them being sold includeing the mangroves mainly. Any one heard anything like this or noticed it?

I am not sure about if they still import rear fangs or not,but maybe they stopped certain species since there are alot of captive bred stuff now.Are you looking for some? If so let me know i have several freinds that i can go thru to find just about anything .

    Re: rear-fanged stuff

I was looking a while ago for a mangrove but ended up with 3 little hognoses. I just had 2 people tell me all rear-fanged snakes are being stopped. Do they stop imports because of alot of CB's being available? I havent heard of much CB mangroves and more rare (compaired to FWCs and stuff) things like that.

    CB mangroves are almost non-existant.

Mangroves themselves are also not always available.

You can still import these, it's just that they are not as easy to find and since hogs and FWC's are CB they are more plentiful in the market.

If you don't like snakes with an attitude, stay far far away from Mangroves lol. Heres a Sulawesi female I used to own showing being her usual friendly self....

As weird as this sounds, I actually like the atitudes on snakes. I love working with them and haveing to always pay attention to them. I still have my hognoses and yellow anaconda that I can get out just to hold for fun.

BTW.... that snake looks sooo awesome. I would love a all black one. Ill have t settle with the black any yellow one probably.
