    is a small rat too big

    I have an eight month old bp that is about 22in long and about 4inches in girth would a small rat be too big.

    i would think a rat pup that has just opened its eyes might be as big as you would want to go . maybe even a bit smaller . a small rat would definately be pushing it .

    That is what I thought the only place to buy feeders is petco and all thier feedermice look way to small and they were dirty not looking very good and they did not have any thing smaller than a small rat so I will probably wait a few days then go back I have been thinking of breeding rats so I wont have this prob I a have been doing a lot of research thanks for the advice
