    Question Night Drop

Recently I've noticed my bp staying out of her hide at night, or half in half out sometimes. Eventually she goes in but not until later.

Can someone fill me in on nightdrop and night temp. ranges?

my BP does the same thing, has half its body in the hide and half outside of the hide resting on the hide.....

the temps should always be the same...no drops....90-94 on warm side & 80-84 in ambient

Rmune is correct, unless you are cooling for breeding, there should be no night drops.

    Re: Night Drop

balls are nocturnal critters... they come out at night... exploring their enclosure, doing whatever it is they want to do and then they go back into their hide to sleep.

    nothing odd about that behaviour...

    Re: Night Drop

on a similar subject.. being noctural i would expect my bp to want to hunt/eat at night.. but i havent been able to get her to eat at night. she just looks at it and keeps moving around, exploring... completly uninterested. When i feed her in the day it only takes a minute to feed. Is she just used to being fed in the day by a previous owner? Anyone else have this experiance?
