    Question Brians Rodent Pellets

Anyone use these? I suppose he produces it for his own operation (ratsicles.com), so it should be good enough for my own mice colony. It appears pretty cheap compared to pet store prices. $1.20 for a 5# bag. (plus ship) 65# for $16 bucks

With the help of a nutritionist, this lab block was developed to have 16% protein, 5% crude fat, essential vitamins and minerals, and low corn content.

Point taken. It would only be $22 for shipping to me. But that is still like $.58 per #. Guess I need to find a feed store that sells Mazuri.

    What
    Mazuri product do you buy?

I have been using SunSeed lab blocks for years; they are great because I can buy 25 pounds for $12.00 (my friend goes in on a 50-lb bag with me.) They might be more readily available..

I don't feed dog food. This is actual rodent pellets. At the bottom you will see the 1-800 number. I called them and they found me a local source. I threw out the bags on my last two I bought. But I will be getting more this weekend. There is another flint river of some sort. But they are not the same company. They seem to be only in the southern states as of right now. But the bags still go for under 12 dollars a 50 pound bag,. I have used it on my rats and mice for years. I also have a friend that uses it for a large colony of rats and has never had a problem. I hope this helpsFlint River Mills1100 Dothan Rd., 31717

gncz - The kent rodent diet you are talking about, i checked for a local dealer and the one it showed happened to be the feed store i go to to get my rodent food.. im pretty sure its the same thing that i usually get.. but there it goes by RODENT BLOCK.. is that the same thing? and you can it for $9 for 50lbs? damn.. i have to pay exactly triple that for a 50lb bag there, $27..
