I have built my first rack. I was wondering how do I make a box for the female to lay eggs in? Do I put it in the sterilite container? Is it ok to let the female incubate her own eggs and if so do I need to do anything? Do I put the egg box on the wamr or cool side? Do I change the temp and humidity ect. ?

A box isn't necessary, although you can use a small kitty litter-type box if you want. You can let the female incubate the eggs herself. This way you won't have to worry about maintaining the proper temps and humidity as she will do that on her own, however she will not be eating for the additional two months it will take to incubate the eggs. This is one of the main reason why people prefer to place the eggs in an incubator.

The temps should remain the same (low 80s to low 90s), but you should bump the humidity up a bit.

I think you will find that most people will recomend you incubate the eggs. It is easier to control the variables, and is much less stressfull on the female. It will her allow her to go on food sooner, and try to recuperate the large energy invesment she placed in the eggs.
