    Snake Got Stuck

Well lasat night i was sitting on the couch watching tv when i heard a noise in my snakes cage. I walked over to see what was going on and she had managed to get herself stuck in a tiny hole on he climbing log. I have never seen her try to go in that part of the log, She has had it even before i owned her and the previous owners never had this problem. I had to pull it apart as best as i could so she could get through. She was squirming alot, I am just glad i didnt go to bed otherwise i would of not had a snake this morning when i woke up.

So i was curious what you gu ys think i should do, I left the log out for the time being, she has her hide and a lil fake tree and her water bowl in it for now, should i put the log back and home she doesnt try it again when i am not home or when i am sleeping or should i leave it out and find a new log somwhere without the lil holes so she cant even try it again?

Well if she truly got herself stuck in it, then I would just buy her a new hide to replace it.

    Re: Snake Got Stuck

Its not her Hide that she got stuck in, It is a log that is in her cage to crawl on and stuff.... I was thinking of just cutting the part where she tried to crawl through so there is no holes for her to fit in....

She seemed pretty stuck to me, I mean she was kinda flapping back and fourth trying to get out but she didnt seem to be moving. She didnt get free til i pulled the log apart. It scared me so much, I thought she was gonna get hurt

Something similar happened to me the very first day I had my ball. When I got her out, she was PISSED. She struck at everything that moved (or didn't move) for the next hour and was at the ready for an hour after that. My vote: throw it out and buy a hole-less log.

ya, I was thinking of just getting a new one. I may do that this weekend. Well i got lucky then because she didnt strike me, Actually when i walked over to the cage and took the lid off she looked at me and tried to lift her head to me like she was saying "help me" once she was free she crawled around my neck for a bit and rested there for about an hour then i put her to bed.

FYI...sticking your tongue in a toaster is very invigorating. you should try it.
