    Possible RI?

As some of you know I have been having some problems with my BP shedding. I just laid a warm towel on him for about 15 minutes and let him move around to see if that would help get the remaining shed off (only a little bit left on his upper body on half of his head and a couple inches below that) that didnt work. So I tried soaking him in my bathtub for a little while which he wasn't very fond of. Thrashing around trying to get out the thing that Im worried about is I started hearing a lot of wheezing. Is that because there was water that got into his nostrils?? Or RI? I took him out and listened for about 5 minutes and it stopped and I didnt hear any other noises. Also tried getting the remaining shed off with a warm water soaked Q-Tip rubbing gently and it seems like it is still stuck to him pretty good so I guess all I can do is leave him alone and wait it out, stressing him out like this probably isn't the best thing to do.

But Should I go the vet? Or is it just because I was soaking him?

try putting him in a damp pillowcase... IF soaked for a short period time in water it can actually make the skin drier. I had my het pied in his little snake bag (dry)when I took it over to a friends to show him and when I pulled him out he had actually shed while being inside the bag. All in 1 piece!

What substrate are you using in your tank? I have been using the eco earth/shredded coconut husk and it works great for keeping the humidity where it needs to be. It also holds the moisture better than most other substrates. Give that a try...and let us know.

I am using aspen right now. I forgot I have some ZooMed Shedding Aid that I just sprayed on and rubber it in so I'll see if that helps at all. But what about the Wheezing?

How long has it been since your snake first started to shed?
It'll come off with time. Is there any still on its eyes?

Started to "actually" shed skin about 3 days ago, there is only skin left on one of his eye's.

Looking better and better more of the shed is coming off! Don't know if you can see but on the head there is still some and on its neck.

And a Pic of the enclosure. I have one more of those orange hides should I take the right hide out and put one of those in since they like identicle hides?
