    Anerythristic Boa c. longicauda

Ok... is this really a recessive trait for these boas, or are they just labeling the individuals with less color anery? If it is a recessive trait, does that mean that there may be some BCI mixed in the bloodlines?

Not sure about that. I have seen a few Anery B.c.l. for sale but never thought much of them. They looked very Anery to me but I have no idea if it was a genetic form of anery or just a freak mutation

I've wondered the same thing. Unless it originated somehow with a WC animal, I would think they were crossed with regular anery BCI to make hets and then eventually to produce anery longicauda from the most "longicauda looking" offspring.

BCL's are naturally anery looking, don't know if they are "genetically" anery though.
