    Reptile "abortion"

Do you think it is responsible for an animal rescue to house opposite sex, breeding age reptiles together, and then repeatedly destroy the eggs that are produced in their facility?

well...im not sure of the housing "rules" for all reptiles (some lizards might be different) but if they're snakes, then id say no because they shouldnt be housed together in the first place. If they are a species that are ok to live together, then i still say its wrong because there is no point in the first place when all that would be required is a cage divider or a good old tub. I think if they wont seperate, they should contact local herp keepers and see if they are interested in incubating the eggs.

Personally I see no point in allowing any animals of breeding age to reproduce without a plan for their potential offspring.
