    Bp Weight Question

This is regarding my first male Bp that I purchased in '04. At that time his weight was only 60gms. I weigh him regulary and he has always showed a steady and normal weight gain and growth. I weighed him this morning and his weight was 754gms. Is this mormal weight for this guy. I not too worried, but I see some of your all post that have snakes topping 1000gms by the second year. Currently he is downing med. rats and length is about 3ft. He has never been ill or unhealthy. He has always ate and never went off feeding. I'm just curious cause my other 3 Bps seem to be normal weight for there age. Any comments or ideas would greatly be appreciated.
    Thank You

when you say medium rats, how many grams are you talking? my biggest tops the scales at 964 grams and is only on rats in the 100 gram range. The weight is not a problem because snakes grow at different rates. As long as it is not triangular shaped with the back bone visible you are fine.
    lots of snakes

I never wieghed the rats but they are pretty good size. And his body shape is normal. I was just curious about the whole weight thing.

    Don't worry...

They tend to grow at different rates.

As long as you are feeding him regularly, you should be fine.
