    what's the best thremostat?

i only have 2 snakes right now and are in seperate enclosures, BUT i'm gonna build a rack system out of an old throphy case and was wondering what would be the BEST thermostat i can get? needs to be 110v and plugs need to be amreican and will need to accept 3+ units. let me kow what you think. i'm currently using a dimmer switch on my 40gal and a repti temp 500r on my 20 gallon. seen some Biostat digital proportional thermostats and they look good, just not sure on how reliable the digital parts are with them

    thanks

I use Helix for my rack, which you can purchase at http://www.reptilebasics.com. I feel that proportional thermostats are better for a rack system.

Herpstat is also a good proportional thermostat.

I'm really thinking about getting a Helix for my guys & girls!
I have a ranco that pops on and off.... it's okay, but not my favorite thing.

The Ranco works well for me, for my individual tub set-ups, but I will probably be switching to Helix for those as well (Hmmmm, guess I'll have two thermostats for sale next year). I stack the tubs, so have three tubs running on one Ranco, which is fine, I just want to switch to all Helix.

Yup. It will take at least a month before you get your order! A LOT of people have had that problem with him in the past. On here and on other sites.
