I am recieving my new Het Pied from adam on the 29th, i have the tank all set up, but i need to plug in the UTH, and get the temperatures right, should i start doing that now? When do you all usually start heating up the new tub?

YEa I would. That way you could get the temps and humidity just right. I'm getting a BP on the 1st and I plugged all her stuff in already and been adjusting as needed.

you should for sure so you can can adjust the temps/humidity as needed so that way when he gets here his new home is ready to go

I let my tanks run for about one and a half to two weeks to get the temps and humidity stabile prior to my new addations getting in them. This allows you to tinker with them over a number of days and get it just right.

yup, it helps me a lot. The temps are coming along nicely, i have to tweak it a little bit, but that is pretty much a given for a new enclosure.

It takes about a day for everything to settle.... I had to learn this the hard way, unfortunately. I had too little holes and I was constantly taking the poor guy out to adjust the humidity.. Talk about a grumpy snake! Gooood luck!
