Ruari!
Was probed today and found to be a female. Hehe. SHE probed 2.5 scales on both sides today with 3 people holding her and a 4th doing the probing. Poor girl 
So anyway, she's 7ft now and 20lbs of pure sweet snake. The horse stanchion she's climbing on is around 8ft long(the bar anyway), and when stretched out, she almost touches both ends. Big, heavy thing...

Oh I'm glad you decided to resex him...errr...her. I was never comfortable with my sexing job as I did it back when I just learned and with only two of us to manage the big wonder it was nearly impossible to get any really good result. Man does Sonja dislike being probed or what LOL. Congrats on the lovely big girl and I adore the name! Can't wait to bring one of her daughters home to us someday (Severus' future wifey).

It certainly looks like she's thriving in your care! Now that I'm moving down that way...and will be driving through Waco every so often, maybe I'll get the chance to meet the famous, beautiful Sonja in person!

Is Sonja depressed that Ohio beat Michigan????  We always wondered with Rauri's size about him being a him so now that mystery is solved. If you ever get over to meet Sonja you are in for a treat Judy. That is one big wonderfully well tempered sweetheart of a snake!
