    Vet check up

So Saharah has a vet appt at 4:45 on Friday with my vet to get her eye checked out and to see if she does have a RI since she is wheezing a bit. I hope not, but better to be safe then sorry!

Now if Friday would only hurry up and get here!

Always better safe than sorry Allison and if these things get caught in time I'm sure in the end it's far less costly as far as vet bills and of course, much easier on the snake involved. Hope all goes well and she doesn't have too many issues to be dealt with.

I'm curious, how much do check ups run you guys?

    For me it's around $40.
I get a discount if I bring in more then one snake at a time though.

I'm not sure, I'll let you know Friday evening since I've never had to take any of my snakes to the vet before.

$0 for me - my vet never charges me an office visit, since he loves the kids. He only charges if he has to dispense medicine (only for the first kiddo who had internal parasites). My first office visit was $15 (as opposed to the posted $50). But for wellness checks - he never charges me and just helps me carry the crew out and says he can't wait to see what I get next! LOL

Well isn't that just a rockin' deal! Mine are about $42... but still worth it.
