    Switching From Glass to Rack??

Ok, I've been doing alot of searching and a lot of thinking and i have almost decided on getting a small rack system for my Balls. I have lots of Questions and need some trusted guidence. So im asking.. Help!!
First off I only have 2 BP's and will probally get another in the hopefully distant future. I do not ever intend on breeding, just have a small collection. I really cant see spending $400 + on a rack.
There are two different vendors i'm really looking into now after searching high and low {RhinoRaxx and Reptile Basics} I'd love to hear any suggestions you guys may have on either or any other.
Also what do you think about belly heat v/s side or back heat?
And T-stats, Ranco v/s Johnson Controls?
Ok thanks for any comments or suggestions

    Re: Converting!!

With the one hatchling rack we have we bought it from Neil Golli...he's great. If you were interested in checking out another person.
His are made of expanded PVC I believe...super light.
With the small rack he did back heat, but with our large rack (holding adult Bp's) we did flex-watt belly heat. We only use Herpstat here.
Hope what little I can contribute helps ya
I rack my husbands balls & show my rack on Ball-Pythons.net

I asked on another thread about Neil Golli, but I remember talking to him last spring and he was on his way up to meet Rich at ReptileBasics to pick up a truck load of racks to sell for him. So, I believe that the racks that Neil offers are the racks that Rich at ReptileBasics makes.

    Re: Converting!!

I really hope to find something that will do well with my babies as they grow. I saw a few that offered tub sizing that were too small for when they get older but they were side by side. I'm hoping that the 2 tubs could be replaced with 1 larger tub later. I e-mailed the vendor hoping that maybe this would be possiable. I'm still looking though.

And yes, thank you all for your gracious input.
