    IE 7.0.. anyone else?

I just downloaded Internet Explorer 7.0; I like it a lot more! I was seriously thinking of switching to Netscape or going back to Firefox; I liked certain things about them but now this browser seems more user-friendly. Much less obtrusive back/forward buttons and toolbar in general, and it goes great with my Yahoo mail address, telling me if I have email in the top bar.. any other likers?

    Yucky.
Firefox is faster, safer, more stable and more customisable.

I prefer FF...but sometimes i can't play videos because plugins are missing...so then i have to use IE to view it...my favorite feature of FF is the built in spell checker

The only problem i have had so far is it sometimes freezes up when i try to look at my email.I can view anything else but my email for a couple minutes. Now the notice of incoming email was with the old version also.Other then the freeze up everything is great.

I am not a fan of IE7. They tried to copy Firefox and did a piss poor job. FF is an awesome browser and is the one I use. Opera is also pretty good.

    Re: IE 7.0.. anyone else?

There is so much crap in IE, I can't believe it. I'm a web designer/programmer (for myself, LOL), and I have to make so many fixes for IE to display the website right, it's horrifying. I don't know about IE7, but the previous versions have terrible CSS support. Again, I'm not positive with this about IE7, but previous versions don't support .png images, either, which sucks if you want images with transparency/translucency. That's all from a designer's point of view, though. From a normal person's point of view (), I can't say much as I don't use it. Thankfully, I'm a Mac user and couldn't use IE if I wanted to. I do happen to have IE 5.2.3 for Mac, but it's just taking up space on the hard drive.

Sorry for that... but I really don't like most of the junk Microsoft puts out for sale/use.
