A Very Special Announcement -- NEW FORUM!

Dear Members,

After a great deal of thought, discussion, deliberation and planning, we would like to present a special forum for those who have proven to have a long-term commitment and dedication to BP.net. This will be an adults-only forum, with much looser "rules and regs" and will be open to all who meet the requisites for entry.

Please understand that every single member of BP.net is valuable to us! But it would be impossible to implement this kind of forum without some specific guidelines to go by to prevent any appearance of favoritism.

Here are the minimum requirements for entry:

-- 18 years old
-- 1 year of membership
-- 500 post count
-- 40 reputation level
-- Consistent and regular contributions to BP.net, especially within the last 30 days.

If you wish to be a part of this new forum, simply check to see that you meet the requirements listed, and then send a PM to Judy (JLC) letting her know, and she will make it so.

A few extra notes that we want everyone to be aware of:


1. This is a test run for this type of forum. After 30 days, we will thoroughly reevaluate the current rules, the current entry requirements, and the overall impact on BP.net. At this time, the rules/requirements may be tweaked or changed altogether...or the forum may be completely discontinued...all depending on how things go.

2. This is not a "new site" meant to draw away any memebers...it's a little subforum under "Off Topic." And that's all it is...a place for "Off Topic" discussions. All herp related discussions will remain in public where they belong and where they will benefit the whole community. That is the primary mission of BP.net and members not actively participating in that mission will not be allowed in the new forum.

3. Gossip, trashtalk, or any other negative commentary about members unable to be there to defend themselves will not be tolerated.

4. Access to this new forum is a privilege and not a right. Any who are unable to accept the rules and responsibilities of belonging may lose their access privilege.

It's our hope that this will prove to benefit the greater good of BP.net and we hope our members will be patient and understanding during the testing and tweaking process. If ANYone has any concerns or questions, they should feel free to address them via PM to myself or any other staff member. All input is valued and will be given the weight it deserves during the reevaluation process.
