All grown up and saving china.

Remember how little Unut was in May? Here's that shot of him next to Bowie back when we thought he was a little girl...

Now here he is today... weighing in at the vet at 7.6lbs!!

Poor guy has allergies though, which is why he was at the vet in the first place. All sneezy and conjested! I can't believe my rabbit has allergies. Good thing he's not a hutch bunny!

Now that he's all grown, Unut has become the ringleader!

They even have Cleo acting as a lookout! That's the bunny fort, btw. They can trash it all they like, it's their play area.

Daphne likes to shelve herself. It's her favorite place to sit. So cute.

Cool shot of Bowie's weird eye! Top half is blue, bottom half is dark grey-green. And his pupils do have a red glowy sheen irl, but the camera exaggerates it.

I love my bunnies... bunnies and snakes forever around here.

    Nice Mulan reference.

Good gracious has he gotten BIG! Still as cute as ever though. I especially like that pic of Daphne on her shelf.

very cute bunnies. we had two for awhile... but oh man, they chewed everything and the mess they made... well the kids were NOT taking good care of their pets and they went back to the breeders.

Re: All grown up and saving china.

Thank you! I love my bunnahs! Hehe, Foster, that's a great name for a Flemish Giant! Hehe! Our next bunny, we're planning on a Holland Lop maybe, but we'll see. It'll be a while!

And oh yeah, I would never recommend rabbits as pets for kids! They can be very destructive, high maintenance, and are easily stressed out by children. And yes, messy! Mine are pretty good about the chewing, except for the carpet. They have lots of toys and chews to keep them busy, but they still enjoy pulling up carpet. Especially Unut and Daphne! But they're worth it to me. *snuggles her lil monsters* Mine're pretty good about their litter boxes save for the territory poos too.

WOW! I can't believe how big and how fast Unut has grown! He's amazing! I do believe those are the three happiest bunnies I have ever seen!!

Thanks, Judy! It's amazing how big he got! I'm not even sure he's done growing!! But they sure are some spoiled rotten bunnies. I wish all my critters took medicine as well as Unut does. He's my little angel monster.

Re: All grown up and saving china.

She loves her boys and plays den mother, but Unut won't let her do any of her usual dominance displays so it's clear she's no longer head bunny! But she has accepted it gracefully and frequently gives Unut head kisses! In fact, she grooms them half to death. Bowie is missing a patch of fur on his neck from her overgrooming! Bowie's at the bottom of the totem pole even though he's bigger than Daphne. But he's happy and doesn't care!

I'm really pleased with how smoothly this little bunnah soap opera has gone! We're very lucky, not a single real fight through the whole bonding process!

My best friend here breeds Holland Lop's.

Are they house rabbits? I couldnt imagine having them loose, although I have always wanted a house rabbit ... but we have a Greyhound so I know that wont be a good mix lol
