misc questions
1. is it normal for a snake pee to actually be wet, or is there something wrong if it doesnt come out in a solid form?
2. is it normal to poop in their hides?
3. is it normal for a BP (9 months) to get really fat in the belly really quickly? are they considered "heavy bodied" snakes? (Nag looks like he is pregnant or something LOL)

1. Yes....Kisasa can utterly soak her tub when she pees sometimes. It's SO gross!
2. Yes Silly snakes!
3. I don't know.
EDIT: I'll add a little caveat to my #3 answer....Kisasa goes for long periods between poops. Last time she pooped out 100grams worth! (Well, some pee was included in that weight drop as well...but it was huge!...she went from weighting 700g to 600g in one fell swoop!) So..maybe that's what you're seeing?

As compared to Boas, Balls can be considered heavy-bodied.

Re: misc questions
Yep they can pee both solid and liquid forms of urine. Some love to poop in their hides, some never do that. Has the snake had a big poop lately? Ours can get quite a big bulge right down by the vent area right before they go. I learned awhile back to check there before I handle a BP, one experience of Malachi using me as a toilet is quite enough LOL.

Re: misc questions
I was checking on Nagaina a while back, shortly after I got her, and I was terrified one day when I started seeing muscle contractions down in the tail area. I put her down immediately, not knowing if this was going to turn in to an emergency or if it was already an emergency.
as luck would have it, I picked just the right time to watch her make a doodie...in her waterbowl.
once I realized what wwas going on I felt really dumb. my kids watched this as well and they laughed at me for days cause I panicked (sp?)
