    My neighbor found him

Came home and my neighbor found this trying to get into his garage. We released it back into the woods.

Nice garter! We have them living in our basement and in the walls of our house; even found sheds in the attic crawl space Super awesome snakes, but they do like to musk you!

Thanks. We live in a new development so its not to surprising seeing these guys as they're getting unsettled from thier homes.

Interestingly, I've never seen one so long before.

It was probably a female as they tend to be larger then the males. So just think you could have also saved a bunch of future babies
