quick question

i was wondering if this is normal...my BP just likes to stay in his cool side hide and when he comes out at night he is always in the s position stick maybe a quarter of his body out. i just added newspaper to the tank like i was told and ever since than he doesnt wonder around anymore. does that me he feels secure in there now or what????

If your temps are good and everything is kosher, then yea perfectly normal. He's probably waiting for a mouse to come by and snatch it up. A snake in its hide is a happy snake so I wouldn't worry. If he stops eating then get concerned.
