What is the average weight gain of a bp? or is there a scale of some sort like 100g per year any ideas? Im trying to get ideas of what a healthy weights are for 0-30yr old snakes.

That's like asking what is the average weight gain of a person. Balls come in all different sizes, lengths, and growth rates. Some will gain 1,000 grams in a year and others might only gain 100 depending on genetics, pickiness, amount of food given, etc.

Every snake is differant, some gain weight fast some do not.So in all there is no weight gain scale to use in comparision to age.

I use index cards to keep records on each snake.I write down when they eat, shed and at the same time i weigh them. This is the only way you can determine if that specific snake is gaining weight or not.

You can tell if you can see the snakes back bone then the conclusion is that it is to skinny. On the the other hand fat rolls and seeing skin between the scales when streighten out i.e not curled around something or balled up then its to fat. Just a couple of little rules of thumb.
Like My three year old male is right at 1100 grams where as my 05 het peid is at 625 grams
