Congrats to you for a job well done!! I have never had animals come shipped in a box before I was so worried. Had a dog flown in but she was in a pet carrier. Not as worried as fed-ex driver looked though. I think the live reptiles printed on box was putting him off a bit. Would do business with you again!! I expected her to be a lil' worse for wear, but she spent next 2 hours just cruising the new digs. Thanks again!!

Thanks guys! I am so releived to get through this hurdle. For those of you thinking about it, it's definately worth going thru the hassle....think about it...being able to ship to anyone in the states opens so many doors for a smalltime snake breeder looking to help a business grow. I want to thank my buddies Amber and Jamie and Joe for guidance....oh, and also my brother the poolman.

this happened to me on my last shipment. They still havent corrected it. They said something about box size. It was a 12 X 12 X 9 box and they bumped up my shipping by about $20. Ill get it worked out though.

EDIT: I just called FedEx and they told me that my package was much bigger than that and those chose to audit it and dimensionalize it with some convoluted formula, bumping the price from $45 to $61. I have no idea but they credited me back the $16.

Yea thats the crap they tried with my boxes .A 12x9x6 box went to 12x12x7 and a 7x7x6 box went to 10x10x7  .The machine that DIMs the boxes miscalculated they said .Jamie call billing direct and tell them you want it changed NOW or they will never correct it.Crystal, i am glad i was able to help you with your questions on how to get certified thru FEDEX and happy you survived the process .

They fixed it but I suspect it will happen again at some point. They said they audited it and I gave the wrong dimensions online when I shipped it
