scales....
Hey everyone...just had another quick question...It's hard to describe but here we go....you can see his skin in between his scales....his scales aren't together so you can see his skin....not all over just in his midsection on his sides...what is this? Don't laugh, but is he growing quicker than his scales are growing? Is it OK? Thanks for any help.

Re: scales....
Did he just eat? If so then thats dinner streching the skin. If not it might be getting over weight but that I doubt in this young of a snake. Kepp and eye on it.
Can you post some pics

Re: scales....
I can't post pic right now because I have no idea how. I will be having someone over to help me learn how soon. He did just eat but it's been like that for a while now. He will be a year old in December and I am feeding him 2 small young adults every week. Is that too much? maybe he is overweight. And if so, he is so used to getting 2, he actually waits for me to run downstairs and get him his second mouse before he goes back into his hide, how much would only getting 1 hurt his feelings?

Re: scales....
do you have a camera that you're able to get pics onto your computer?
Here's a nice tutorial that one of the mods (Iceman25) posted on uploading and posting a picture

Re: scales....
If it looks like this http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a3...220/meg1-1.jpg than it's fine...Balls don't have overlapping scales (can't remember what it's called), so sometimes you will see a little skin between the scales.

Re: scales....
If it looks abnormally swollen, you may want to keep track of his bowel movements and get a vet's opinion. It could be constipated, or just on the fat side...
