some pics of the critters i picked up this week

i picked up some new critters this past week and i thought i'd share them with yall .

this first one was an unexpected aquisition . she was brought into the petshop i work at by a customer who couldnt keep her any longer . she is a beautiful coastal rosy boa . i dont know what locality she is , but i love the way she looks . heres the pics .







these next critters were planned . one of the guys i work with at the petshop produced these in august . i have been patiently waiting for him to get them to eat . thursday i went over to pick up a trio of these little guys and was given a fourth one as a bonus ! so i'm now the proud new parent of 4 paulsoni !! these guys are the smallest critters i have worked with in a very long time . i cant wait till they get a little size on them , i'm almost afraid to touch them for fear of injuring one . anyways heres the pics .

solomon island boas... they are tiny. i have acquired corns at that size... be careful... they escape sooooooo easily! make sure the lids fit super snug and don't think they can't lift the lid... they can!

Are they lizard feeders or did you wait for them to start on mice first?

thanks yall the scientific name for the little guys is Candoia carinata paulsoni . i really like these little guys . all four of them have eaten live pinkies atleast once so i'm hoping they will continue . i have them in very secure vivs so i dont think excape should be an issue .

pork chops and corn bread , i only have one rosy so far but i have a pair of mexican rosy's that i'll be picking up in about a week and a half .
