Your thoughts on "less known/kept" morphs?

I plan on buying another visible morph in the next year or so. I was convinced I wanted a spider, but honestly I want something that's a little rarer! I was thinking along the lines of maybe an orange ghost.. I don't know yet. I don't want to go over 2k. What are some ideas; can't think of much off the top of my head. I'd like something that'd create some neatness when bred to a pastel; the new snake would be female.

Cant go wrong with the female orange ghost, im sure you could find one for 2k if you looked hard enought. pastel ghosts are not to hard on the eyes.

I would say either Ghost or Axanthic.... (You said less known/kept)... Axanthics are WAY under-rated... and so are Ghosts/Hypos.... The combo potential is breathtaking!

yes a female yellowbelly bred to your male pastel and you would instantly see pastel yellowbellies. then you would have some double co-doms to work with.

Those bubblegums/calicos are awesome! Gonna have to wait a few years to get one at that $2000 price tag though!

Out of curiosity, who was the breeder that had the bubblegum?

Michael Cole at Ballroom Pythons South had the bubblegum/calico at the Tampa show. I agree with Audrey, it was so awesome.

Re: Your thoughts on "less known/kept" morphs?

I don't think I'll be seeing any visable ghosts in the next year but I have an awesome 100% het ghost with awesome coloration and flames that I'll be breeding with a couple females in the next month or so. One of the females has some awesome color as well so hoping for some cool looking possible het babies in the near future. Need to get pics up of the new female now that she's shed.

Yes it was Mr. Cole, he only had 1 at the Tampa show and it was priced at 10K I believe. I have dreams about that snake I'm telling ya.
