Hopper sized mice would be about right for an 85 gram ball.

You are in england though, so I'm not sure if the "feeder slang" is the same as over here in the US.

A hopper mouse, over here, is a young adult that has its eyes completely open and is totally weaned. Look for something along the lines of that.

No need to "go big" (with the prey item or the font) ... let the animal grow at it's own pace. Hoppers for the first 6 - 8 feedings than small adult mice once weekly will be fine.

Well it is still a rather young ball so do not force to much food on him at once or he could either regurge or refuse to eat.I feed my baby ball pythons small fuzzy rats from first feedings on to where they do not show a small lump in there midsections. Then i just feed them a next size rat fuzzy(some call them crawlers).A suggestion could you please tone down your letters they are killers on the eyes .If you have any other questions ask away
