hey fellow BALL-lovers hehe my BP is doing perfectly fine and im guessing hes around 11 months/ a year old. my friend just got his BP female who is about 3 feet long and 2 years old......we really want to breed these two but we dont know when where and how. i know the females should be 500 grams per foot but what is really neccessary for them to breed successfully? thanks everyone this site is super helpful

First off, why do you want to breed them? There is alot that goes into it other than making babies. Please read EVERYTHING you can, dont rush to do it this season. We have 2 females ready to breed and 3 males ready to breed, were getting everything we need and learning more and mor every day, I'm not planning on breeding this season, but if we get there and feel we can and have learned enough to go through every situation including emergencies, then who knows we MIGHT. Do your homework and think about it, write out the pros and cons of breeding them and see where that lands you. If your pro's are reasons like "to watch eggs hatch" "so we can have lots of snakes" or anything like that, then maybe you should wait, watch some one else's eggs hatch and adopt more snakes. Just my tip to help ensure there isnt an abundent amount of un-cared for BP's.
