    feeding problem

I have a BP that is probably 3 or 4 months old. She has been eating like a horse. However, she has had problems shedding. This past time she has done pretty well exept for over her eyes. She has missed 1 feeding and last night when we tried to feed her after skipping a week. She is striking out at our movement, I know she is very hungry, but I don't think she can see the mouse. Does she need to be able to see the mouse before she will eat it?

How do you know she is very hungry? I had 2 male bp's eat in full blue. (relying on heat I believe)

get the shed off first, then try feeding. if she doesn't eat, wait a week then repeat. make sure your setup and temps are correct. it is starting to get cold, and your house can be colder than you think.

The reason I say she is very hungry is that she is usually very mild mannered and calm when I come around. Now, she is searching her aquarium non-stop and when she senses any movement around her she gets into strike position. Very out of character for her.

Thanks, I do have some spray to help her shed. I will help her finish her eyes. She has been eating frozen mice real well. I may even get a live one so she can sense tha heat. I'll check temps too.
