    Question My tank setup.

My baby bp has been acting stressed recently. I got a suggestion last night to put a divider in my tank because everyone agreed that the tank I am using is too large for a baby bp (I don't have a ten gal at the moment). The divider I am using right now is cardboard and seems to be doing the job, BUT when I woke up this morning my snake had managed to reach the very top of it (which is only an inch from the lid) she has been there all morning so I can only assume that she is asleep (yay). My question is should I try to fix the divider to where she can't do that or should I leave it the way it is. I suppose that if she can get up there she must be able to get down if she chooses too. I am a little uncertain because there are no branches in the tank, just a vine with artificial leaves around it on the floor of the tank. I can only guess that she inched her way up the glass of the tank. Can she get back down the same way or is she stuck?

She'll get down she just comfortable up there. If she is not down by tonight take her down and fix the divider. Mine gets stuck in a hole in one of his hides and has to back out like once a week.

Yea right let one get out and see how well they can climb. They do live on the ground but will shock the crap out of you as to how well they can climb and where they can squease

    Question Re: My tank setup.

Well my snake woke up less than an hour ago and you were right, she was able to get down on her own. The only thing is she got over on the other side. Should I make a better divider, or should I leave things the way they are?

you could try to make it so she can't get over.

    Question Re: My tank setup.

That is defenitely something I can try, but I'm unsure of whether or not that is a good idea. She seemed very content while she was perched up there...then again I could add some tall branches to the side I'm trying to keep her on. What do you think?
