    feeding my new BP

I am getting a new BP next week , how long should I wait to feed it after I get it? And then how often do people feed their BP's?

Leave your guy alone for one week. no touching on messing then try feeding. And I feed once a week.

Wait one week to feed or handle. Feed it an appropriately sized meal once a week.

Some people feed on a schedule too. Pick a day and time-frame, then feed always on that day each week (unless shedding). This can help to have a better feeding consistancy. I do this and it works great. I've had him three weeks and he is already "waiting" for me at his dinner time. They learn quick!

I feed this way, the only difference is I offer whether they are in shed or not. Most all of them will eat, in shed or not, but will occasionally refuse. I just let them decide!
