Cool I got a new snake!

Yeah, so my new snake is a 100% het. hypomelonistic male, from a spider male and hypomelonistic female. My understanding is that the spider morph is a codom gene and because of that no spider genes are passed to the male snakes. Am I right, or mistaken?

I actually bought him from one of the guys who posts here. It's the fat snake with the cool markings on his head. I'll have some more pictures soon.

:edit: This post may need to go in the breeding section, but maybe not.

    Cool congrats!

Spider is dominant.. all that means is that the het form and the homozygous form both exhibit the trait outwardly. It has nothing to do with gender.. there are plenty of male spiders.
