Re: Pics of the New Homes
I just LOVE those cages; if I had the extra dough, that's what I'd get.. wonder if there's any way to hand-build one! I think that they combine the coolness of being able to see your snakes clearly, with the tublikeness of temperature/humidity control goodness.

Re: Pics of the New Homes
Those two are 7 and 6.5 feet and they are fine in those cages for good. The cages are 4ft x 2ft x 1ft. I don't use hides with Big Boas because they rarely, if ever, use them and they just take up floor room that is better used for them wandering around. Actually, I don't use hides at all...just lots of crumbled newspaper. Dumerils, which are a lot like BPs, love the newspaper and crawl and burrow in it. A friend of mine, who breeds BPs, used this trick with his BPs and took all the hides out and he says that it seems to work better for them too. The big boas in the above pics just flatten anything I put in there, so it's really no use trying...lol. They are hefty girls.

Depends on the size of the man...lol. I don't use others to handle them, but they are my big babies. They are both 3 years old.

Digital thermometers/hygrometers on each end. Spray once a day. They came with flexwatt installed.

I don't think they will, but if they do...I'll deal with it then.
