Well looks like Babe is getting ready to shed

My 4 month old RTB Babe is soaking again so it must be shed time. I have only had him about 4 weeks now and he did this last time he shed. He will sit in there for about 2-3 days then on the fourth day he will come out and shed. Does anyone else's RTB do this? Humidites are between 55 - 65 right now (lower 40 - 45 directly on the heat mat).

    Peace!!

Re: Well looks like Babe is getting ready to shed

I find that my snakes will have perfect shed if the humidity is a bit higher than normal, around 70-77% humidity. Mine only seems to shed if the humidity is too low. 40% is too low on the hotter end. Try spray the tank a few times every 3 hours this will help the humidity to rise.
