    Morphs/Genetics

I hear that all morphs are started by the albino ball. And Pastels which I am concerned about, what will you need to breed to an albino to have an outcome of a 100% pastel ball? And I would really like to know also.. when people breed different morphs together and the outcome will be this this and this. Are those offspring going to be half of each parent or will they individually become only one type.

Each morph is either a dominant, recessive, or co-dominant mutation. Each is inherited in different ways.

Albino was simply the FIRST of the mutations.. you can not get a pastel baby from breeding albinos. You get albinos by breeding albinos.. pastels from breeding pastels.

NERD has some great articles on herp genetics.. read this page (there are several pages, you can get to the next one by clicking the link at the bottom of this page : http://www.newenglandreptile.com/genetics_intro.html)
