    Constrict-O Meter

    http://www.sciencemag.org/cgi/conten...67/465d?ck=nck

Altoough it is a minor editorial glitch, it would be nice to see Science (one of the most well respected scietific journals) not using the term Boa constrictor when it refers to a Burmese.

    Re: Constrict-O Meter

I think it was on "The Big Squeeze" that just re-aired recently. I didn't catch it this time around, but I saw it about a year ago, and I'm 90% sure it was on that show. If I remember right, on the show they just measured the squeeze the burm put on the keepers arm as he restrained it, and not on an actual meal. Somebody correct me if I'm wrong.

    Re: Constrict-O Meter

I remember a Big Squeeze show.
I beleive they put some type of meter in with a prey item.
Recorded the "squeeze" when the giant snakes were constricting.
I remember the prey was pre killed.
I belive they did a few giants.
Burm, conda and retic I think.
I could be wrong, we all know I'm nuts.
