    Mouth rot

Is there anything you can do for mouth rot, besides a vet trip? I know the vet is going to give me antibiotics etc, but I was windering if there was anything else that could be done before the trip which is not until thursday, when the owner can take him. And when the vet will be there to look at him.
Hepburn is on antibiotics, but isn't getting anything else, so I can't advice her on anything else to do other than wait and take him to the vet.

I once rescued a boa that had sever mouth rot. What i did was clean out the gunk very gently to make sure you do not knock the teeth out. Then i used a diluted amount of peroxide on some q-tips to kinda rinse the mouth out.It took me several months but he left me in A-1 condition .

You can also use a diluted solution of chlorhexidine.. Works like a charm
